Directions to SMP by car

Navigation system?
Key in your destination: ‘Wasserstrasse 8‘ in Düsseldorf. In case it is not listed in your navigation system, key in ‘Rheinufertunnel‘ (Rhine-Riverside-Tunnel). Take the exit ‘Zentrum‘ (city center) keep right and follow the street (‘Kavalleriestrasse‘). Turn right onto the ‘Wasserstrasse‘ and follow until you arrive at number 8 where you will find a parking lot for your vehicle on the backside of our office building.

Approaching from the North via A52?
Coming via the A52 motorway, exit onto the A44 towards ‘Flughafen‘ (Airport). Follow the signs to ‘Zentrum/Innenstadt‘ (city center) and further on towards the ‘Hafen/Rheinufer‘ (Port of Düsseldorf/Rhine Riverside). After entering the “Rheinufertunnel” (Rhine-Riverside-Tunnel), take the exit ‘Zentrum‘ (city center) keep right and follow the street (‘Kavalleriestrasse‘). Turn right onto the ‘Wasserstrasse‘ and follow until you arrive at number 8 where you will find a parking lot for your vehicle on the backside of our office building.

Approaching from the South via A57?
Coming via the A57 motorway, follow the slip road to ‘Neuss Hafen‘ (Port of Neuss) and continue towards Düsseldorf. After crossing the Rhine River, continue driving along the avenue (‘Südring’/B1) until the first traffic light intersection (there is a speed camera here), turn left (‘Völklinger Strasse’) and continue driving for approximately 2 kilometers until you enter the ‘Rheinufertunnel‘ (Rhine-Riverside-Tunnel). Take the exit ‘Zentrum‘ (city center) keep right and follow the street (‘Kavalleriestrasse‘). Turn right onto the ‘Wasserstrasse‘ and follow until you arrive at number 8 where you will find a parking lot for your vehicle on the backside of our office building.

Approaching from the South A46?
Coming via the A 46 motorway, follow the slip road indicating ‘Düsseldorf Bilk‘ to the traffic light at the end, turn left (‘Südring’/B326) and continue in direction of ‘Hafen/Neuss‘ (Port of Neuss). At the intersection approximately 500 meters after the petrol station (ARAL), turn right (‘Völklinger Strasse’). Follow the street for approximately 2 kilometers until you enter the ‘Rheinufertunnel‘ (Rhine-Riverside-Tunnel). Take the exit ‘Zentrum‘ (city center) keep right and follow the street (‘Kavalleriestrasse‘). Turn right onto the ‘Wasserstrasse‘ and follow until you arrive at number 8 where you will find a parking lot for your vehicle on the backside of our office building.

How to reach us by taxi?
Taking the taxi will be the most comfortable way to reach us. The fare will be approximately:
20€ from the Düsseldorf Airport
8€ from the Düsseldorf Central Station (‘Hauptbahnhof‘)

In case the taxi-driver does not know the ‘Wasserstrasse‘ itself, please tell him to drive to the K21-exhibition in the ‘Ständehaus‘ near the ‘Kniebrücke‘ (well-known bridge across the Rhine River).

How to reach us by train?
Take the train – also possible from Düsseldorf Airport – to the Düsseldorf Central Station (‘Hauptbahnhof‘).
Exit the Central Station through ‘Richtung Innenstadt/Konrad-Adenauer-Platz‘ (Direction to city center / Konrad-Adenauer-Square) and take the tram 704 or 709 departing from platform 8. Get off the tram at ‘Graf-Adolf-Platz‘ and cross the ‘Graf-Adolf-Platz‘ in direction of the train’s motion to the left and follow the signs to the K21-exhibition in the ‘Ständehaus‘. Cross the upcoming park and take the path between the two lakes until you arrive at the next crossing street - the ‘Wasserstrasse‘. Turn to the left and follow the street for another hundred meters where you will see house number 8 – the SMP office building.
